PediStat is a really cool app that allows you to enter DOB, age, length, or Broselow color and precalculates all the important doses for various Pediatric emergency conditions.

ETCO2 in arrest…confounders abound

So the ETCO2 looks pretty good as you are doing advanced life support on an arrest victim. Is this due to high quality CPR, ROSC, or something else? Turns out, though ETCO2 appears to be here to stay to monitor trends during resuscitation, we have to take it in context. It can be elevated for any number of reasons, which this study reveals.
